Cameron & Tara’s Wedding

Hilo, Hawaii.

A beautiful town on the edge of the pacific. Verdant jungles. Supple rivers. Thriving sense of Aloha. Supposedly, the rainiest place in the entire universe.

I’ve never really believed that last one. Yes, statistically it does rain a lot in Hilo. Often it pours unrelenting for days or weeks. But there are also plenty of days with the kind of perfect sunshine even Photoshop can’t create. Crystal clear, “see the curvature of the earth” sunshine.

Cameron & Tara’s wedding day was not one of those crystal clear days, but it was beautiful nonetheless. Not to get too cheesy, but rain is like life, because life is what you make of it, and the rain made this wedding one of the most beautiful I’ve seen in my life… presented here in velvety black & white… 🙂

Thank you, Cameron & Tara, for letting me be a part of such a special day! It was beautiful in every way and would not have been nearly as beautiful on any other day.
