Weddings are a true labor of love for me — family portraits may be my bread and butter, but nothing tops the emotional beauty and timelessness from an intimate wedding. If it’s just the two of you, an officiant, and perhaps a handful of your closest friends and family, I would love to hear from you! Please note: I currently do not accept weddings with over 25 guests.

I offer two simple photography packages:

1. One hour of photography, generally best for vow renewals, for $650.

2. Two hours of photography, best for weddings, for $1300.

Additional hours of coverage are available ala-carte.

Wedding coverage always includes:

+ About 60 to 100 edited, polished, finished photos per hour of photography
+ High-resolution files in a private online gallery, downloadable straight to your computer
+ A signed print release allowing you to print and enjoy your photo

Also available are one hour couples’ sessions to celebrate your engagement, honeymoon or simply an anniversary, for $600.

How do we book our wedding with you?

Contact me using the link above — I’d love to hear a little about yourselves and the plan for your wedding! To hold a date, I require a signed contract and 50% retaining deposit, both of which can be handled quickly and securely online.

Do you charge a travel fee?

No, not for the Big Island, except under special circumstances (for things like hiking to remote places). Contact me for a travel quote for anywhere else.

What gear do you use? Do you have back-up gear and liability insurance?

My primary camera is a Nikon D800, which I love so much I could hug it. For weddings, I keep a D700 in my bag for backup, and a D300s in a backpack as a third backup.

Lenses include a 20mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.2 and 70-200 f/2.8. I also have a very small kit of lighting gear, but I usually don’t use it.

Yes, I have liability insurance.

What is your turn around time?

About 8-12 weeks, with preview photos and an update or two along the way. If you need photos for Thank-You cards or your reception back home, let me know before the wedding, and I’ll be happy to finish a handful of them for you within a week or two.

Can we print our photos on our own?

Yes! Included in your wedding is a print release which allows for exactly that. Prints, sharing on social media, printed photobooks, Thank You cards — the photos you download from your gallery, combined with the print release, can be used for all of them. The only things I don’t allow are entering the photos in contests or using them in an editorial or commercial nature without my consent.

Also available for purchase from your gallery are stunning, archival quality prints and canvases.

We value our privacy. What are your thoughts on this?

If you wish for me to never post your wedding on my blog or on social media, please let me know. I absolutely respect my clients’ wishes for privacy.

Thank you!
